Vice City Stories took a page out of Liberty City Stories' book and improved on its graphics. Although VCS was a part of the 3D Universe with lower specifications as compared to GTA V today, the game ran much smoother than Vice City and there were a ton of newly added side missions to keep players busy. Some new side missions included "Phil's All. Playing through all the old GTA games, and am wondering if it’s worth playing 3 and LCS. From my understanding a lot of the love for 3 comes from the fact that it was the first big GTA game. Haven’t heard much about LCS. GTA:LCS is a prequel, and the stage is set three years before the events of GTAIII happened in 2001. There is a different main character (Tony Cipriani) with his very own story missions. That being said, if you enjoyed GTAIII, you will probably enjoy coming back to Liberty City to play through more of the GTA saga.
