Idon’t know why was changed really. Need to ask the devs. But i guess this: Colonial was changed because Native people, Asian civs don’t have any colonial age (they are victims of it). And because Colonial age improves their condition in Aoe3, while in reality a colonial age didn’t improves their condition at all, they changed it.
Whyis everything already unlocked, the point of leveling up was progression and probably keep players enganged for a longer time. Oh well at least they made the game I just wish they included 3 new factions. Because people didn't want to play hundreds of hours just to be able to play ranked multiplayer properly.
